This may be due to some diseases like hypertension, PCOD, hypothyroidism etc or in case of menopause or PMS or may be due to wrong eating patterns like eating excessive salt in dinner, late night dinners, eating curd and rice at night so to prevent these some modifications in diet and in lifestyle are needed.

·        Engage yourself in some kind of physical activity like brisk walking, jogging, and swimming etc. at least for 30 minutes
·        Keep your feet at raised position especially when there is water retention.
·        Have herbal tea in the evening or at night after dinner. Herbal tea will act as diuretic. This is the best remedy in case of water retention.
